The Award Winning Silicon Run Video Series

Seven Educational DVDs on Semiconductor and Computer Manufacturing

Coming Soon

The National Science foundation has awarded Silicon Run Productions a grant for the production of three films on MEMS and nanotechnology.

The working titles for the films are:

  1. MEMS-Microelectromechanical Systems
  2. Nanotech I: Introduction to Nanotechnology
  3. Nanotech II: Manufacturing Processes

The NSF grant began October 1, 2007. Our goal is to complete one film per year over the next three years.

MEMS Update
We are in the pre-production and production phases of MEMS. We've filmed at Texas Instruments in Dallas to feature their DLP technology and Hewlett Packard in Corvalis, OR, to capture their thermal ink jet print head process. Our next location is Freescale in Phoenix, AZ, to cover the design process of accelerometers. We're working with MEMS Industry Group (MIG) to include a variety of MEMS devices and their applications. If all goes as planned, we should be releasing MEMS in January 2009.
